REMEMBERING 9/11...also KONg & Miss Watson's

Here am I in a cayber cafe at Jalan Bukit Bintang and killing time to go back for shooting later. Its break time now and I had the sudden urge to blog...anyway I really wanted to say someting bout the 9/11 attack that brought the world in a halt when the World Trade
Center in New York was destroyed by two planes. Both towers were gone in minutes as two commercial planes that were hijacked rummaged through the majestic building. Well, it was a sore reminder to the world that there are some notorious forces always wanting to bring down some governement due to their own beliefs.

Well to me it is always been a sad thing that the whole incident happened, today remembering the incident, it saddens my heart and always makes me ponder bout the hearts and lives of many that was perished on that day. The sadness of thier families and grieve of the losses of 3,000 people in that building from various parts of the world that were also working there. Anyway, my heart goes out to all the victims family members and friends, my prayers and hope is for peace and courage to be with them after this incident.

Anyway, here are some pics of the World Trade Center in its beauty and also it was once used as a backdrop and location for the 1976 version of King Kong that starred Jeff Bridges and the movie also introduced Jessica Lange. Enjoy....

The towers in all thier beauty...

Shattered into pieces...

Movie Marvel...King Kong on the World Trade Center...

Anyway before I end this post I would like show anonther pic of my good friend and she was one of the top finalist for the Miss Watson's thingy they had recently..I guess she should have been the next ambassador for Watson and, I mean she looks better than Cheryl Samad...hehehe..

Aruna looking very sweet ( Preety Young Thing &  Cheryl look out yeah )

ITS WORK WORK WORK....THE CROC MAN DIES, DISCOVERY OF A MALAYSIAN BEAUTY & WHo they BELONG TO???

I have been really busy for the past few days...for starters I just started my job with this studio called Green Cow Studios...kinda cool yea..Well, I am doing the props for the Malaysian version of MTV's "Boiling Points"... the gags that has been planned are very funny and really hope that Malaysians can take em well with a good spirit cuz the end result of being patient is getting the MOOLA ($$$). I am really tired now, I just came back from IKEA with my art director, he is really a cool guy. Besides that I am gonna be around in office for a while till I make my way back home, cuz its freakin traffic near my office even though its kinda near my house.

Anyway yesterday after work I went to visit Lam, he fell sick, so after visiting went for dinner with some of Ian's friends from TAR college and on the way back home, poor Hong Liang fell sick..then Joshua ( the MAC expert ) sms'ed me sayin that he also fell sick. Even Winnie was sick, I mean it was like a plague or something but yeah after coming back to Selayang to meet up with Ian, our friend Hong Liang already was not really feeling well, so brought him to the clinic...Here is Hong Liang looking really cool..but poor guy he is sick now...

Also on today's newspaper, I read that the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irvin, passed away caused by the sting of ray ( no wonder they are called STING RAY), its said in the paper that he was shooting a documentary at Great Barrier Reef when one of the stingray's striked him and he died on the way to the hospital. He was a brave man and yes his efforts to conserve the environment is highly known by people all over the people. The loud and cheerful man, who's famous line by "Crickey" will be deeply missed by all over the world. Despite the crazy ways of hosting his show in battling all sorts of animals, he was a man who had a purpose. This guy was also in the limelight for being in the pond with big crocs and holding his young baby on the other hand while feeding those wild animals...Well, I always thought he would actually in danger of what he is doing, even getting killed by a crocodile. But the media always showed the wild things he did but he was also a man who did many things in promoting the well being of the environment. Well Cheers Mate...

Hmmmm, actually I just received some pics from Grace. She took some pics of me with one of my favorite actress in Malaysia. The young and petite yet matured Sharifah Amani, star of Yasmin Ahmad's movies. She starred in Sepet and Gubra. I had the chance of meeting with her a last month at "ENDGAME" a play by Samuel Beckett directed by Gavin Yap. The play also starred my very good friend from The Oral Stage, Kelvin the director of ROjak. It was such a good thing to chat with Sharifah, she is a very friendly, down to earth and bubbly gal. And yes I was just like a groupie, I brought my KLUE magazine whereby she was featured in one of the main articles...Here are the pics...

As you all can see the top pic is me with the lady herself and the one below is with Rauf and Grace Tham who is also happens to be a wonderful photographer. Really you all should check out her pics. Rauf by the way is one kick @$$ guitarist who is attached with local indie band " Flatline". He is also an excellent writer. Well, I am still happy that I met with Sharifah Amani, and I know in near future I would really love to work with her...All the best to you Sharifah...

Well, I always wanted to write about one of Malaysia's famous faces in everything that you can imagine.....You all still wonderin who am I talkin bout? Well its no other than Amber Chia, the girl next door from Sarawak who turned into model cum actress and everything else on the media. She is also the face of GUESS watch international. The good part is, yes she does look exotic and sexy, sultry and pouty lips but the sad part is she is has become the queen of everything to anything. From electronic products to massage chairs to Lingzhe (Chinese mushroom) and anything you can name she is there...Well, Lam my friend is one person who can imitate her to the best...cuz she has the same pose for almost all the pictures you see her in...Well, I hope that she will change her poses but yet I dont deny the fact that she is a very attractive gal...Here is her picture for one of her GUESS watches and the one below me having a one on one moment with AMBER herself...Hehehehe...

AMBER LOOKIN SEXY !!!

HAvin some moments with her....

And lastly I did some changes to these pictures and I kinda like em la...Both the legs and arms are of my friends that you can see em in the previous post...Well, thats it for today's post and I will be back with more soon yeah....Till then

 Merdeka Special & A Wonderful Birthday !!!

Its been a wholesome 49 years of freedom that our country has attained and yesterday marked that day for anonther year...It has been really good being in Malaysia, despite the ups and downs of the country but it has made progress in its own way. Personally, I feel happy being in this country for the past 24 years of my life. I mean my dad was born during the Japanese occupation and my mum was born in the year our country got its independence, but both of them have told me about the dark history of what this nation went through on May 13, 1969...it was a big mess and loads of innocent people were killed. Despite that our country has reached to a place that differences can be put aside and everyone can live in harmony..I mean that is what all of us want right ? Well, I hope in coming years that Malaysia can sustain its mark in the world for being a place that caters to everyone's need under the same roof....

Hmmm, that is enough for now I guess, me talking all about the peace and harmony...hehe, hey at least I tried, anyway my Merdeka celebaration was really great cuz I was at the The Curve, and being with friends and counting down to Merdeka was really cool. I mean putting aside the factors of 2nd hand smoking and people cheering for the wrong reasons, it was a memorable time for me. I am yet to get the pictures from Joshua, so once I get em then I will post em. And yes, as yesterday was Merdeka Day, my church organised a Family Day trip to the riverside cum baptism service. It was a fun filled day ranging from the church members doing the Macarena till the time people starting throwing flour at each other but as usual after the baptism there were some us ended up in the river....

Now, lets look what happened last week....Let me see...Ah yeah, it was two person's birthdays and yes these two are so lovey dovey as their birthday's are just a day apart if I am not mistaken...presenting to you Ian and Susie:

Above ( Ian and Susie) , Below ( The cakes of day for them from Bakerzin)

The crowd..

Well, it was a sweet and wonderful occasion, there was the whole GLO bunch ( btw GLO is the college and young adults group that meet every weekend) there...There was this sense of excitement filled around the air as the food arrive cuz we were eating crabs and just small ones but really big and juicy ones with a wonderful butter sauce to go with and yes the steamed bun..Yea, as you can see the cake as shown in the picture has unique names such as Desire, Dark Heart and Caramel something...it was really weird of names food items get nowadays. After the whole dinner party we all made our way to the nearest mamak stall and yes enjoyed a good ole cuppa of teh tarik which makes it complete after having any meal be it Chinese, Indian or even Malay...Wow, the coolness of being in Malaysia...

Make a wish you two....

As you all can see all the pictures from the party was shot by Joshua, there are more but I am only uploading a few ere...His really good at taking good pics..Well ere some and hope you all like it yeah...

Outside the restaurant after the party...the Whole bunch(Some hiding I guess)

I wonder what are they looking at? From left ( Winnie, Aruna & Marcus)

Well people that's it for now..I will keep you all updated with what is happening soon yeah...till then...
